2/26/2020 2 Comments Celebrating 10K on Facebook!Hi everyone! Today the Mrs. Stafford Community hit a major milestone. We have reached 10,000 followers on Facebook! This means that we are now 10,000 voices strong, and that is pretty amazing! I first just want to say how much I appreciate the positivity and support from everyone. I have said this over and over again, to my family and friends, that the people who follow us are the kindest, most helpful and caring people I’ve ever seen on social media. You all support and wish the best for each other. Your graciousness and courtesy shine through. The internet is a scary place to put yourself out there. People can be cruel and say some mean things on social media. That’s why I am so impressed with this community. There has been no hate, just love. So thank you for that, it is the number one thing I am most proud of! Mrs. Stafford Blog was about two years in the making. It took this long because, at the time, I didn’t have the confidence to pursue it. I was insecure and nervous about making myself vulnerable, especially on social media. Also, I doubted that anyone would want to listen to what I have to say. I know a lot of women have felt this way at some point in their life, where they doubted themselves or felt their opinions may not matter. But then there were various reasons that encouraged me to pull the trigger and actually go through with it. First, my family played a big part in suggesting I start a blog. One reason was my knowledge of beauty. Any skincare or beauty questions my girls asked, I always had an answer to. I mean makeup and beauty products really did become a fun hobby for me. Trying new creams and treatments was what I enjoyed doing in my free time. Eventually, I started giving skincare regimens to the young girls at the gym, as well as women my age. I was surprised that things I thought were common knowledge was actually new information to most of my friends. Another reason why I wanted to start the blog was that I noticed a gap in the market for women my age. There are a plethora of 20-something lifestyle bloggers who I enjoy following. I just didn’t see the issues that me or women my age are dealing with being discussed. There are so many different stages in a woman’s life. Entering each decade brings its own rewards and challenges. Turing 60 really felt quite freeing, it helped me become confident in my own skin. When I was going through menopause, I knew I was lost at times and on my own to find answers. My theory has always been that there is an answer to every problem. You may not like the answer, but there is an answer. Since I have the knowledge from firsthand experience, I thought sharing the information I learned would help those women who are currently going through it. Prepare other women to know what to expect and hear from women like me who have climbed that mountain to share their own experiences. Now that our community has grown, I want to use our voices to help each other. I’ve shared my stories with you - now how about you share your stories? "Let us know what life challenges you have faced, your successes, your wisdom, or questions that you would like answers to in the comments down below." Let’s now try to use these 10,000 voices to empower each other to be the best we can be each day! All of you have made this platform what it is, and I thank you all. Welcome to the Mrs. Stafford Community where no topic is off limits! I want this blog to be a forum for women my age to be able to discuss everything beauty and fashion, as well as the more sensitive subjects such as menopause and healthy aging. I’m starting my sixties and I feel the best I have in years, and I want to help other women feel the same way. As a community, I think we can come together and start the conversation. This is all about women supporting other women, and trying to have some fun in the meantime.
Attention Ladies: We’d love to hear from you! Your questions are driving the discussions. Don’t hesitate to comment, especially on the “Real Talk” series as well as “Glowing with Mrs. Stafford”. Without you there is no discussion, so don’t be shy!

2/18/2020 0 Comments Q&A with JamIe at Bare Medical Spa | Laser Treatments, Coolsculpting, Chemical Peels & moreHi everyone! So this video has been a long time in the making, and we finally have it up and live for you to view. In this video we will be talking with Jamie Clayton, owner of Bare Medical Spa & Laser Center in Burlington, Vermont. She gives us the run down on laser treatments, EMsculpting, Coolsculpting, Profound body contouring, PRP hair restoration and other aesthetic, non-invasive procedures she performs at her med spa. I have been extremely transparent since I started this blog about the cosmetic treatments and procedures I've had done. Even though I am diligent with my daily skincare routine, at the age of 61 creams just don't cut it. For those telltale areas of aging, I find that laser treatments are the most effective. I thought this would be a great video to give some insight on the various non-invasive procedures that are available now-a-days. I even learned a lot from making this video. The advancements in technology are kind of unbelievable! We also did a Q&A session with with Jamie based on the questions some of you posted on social media. We talked about treating hair loss, dark spots and age spots, spider veins, and other skin issues. At the end of the video, we give a quick glance at one of the procedures. We watch Jamie perform the PicoWay Resolve treatment, which removes hyper pigmentation, tightens skin, and also helps with acne scars or uneven texture. You won't believe how easy and virtuously painless this treatment is. You can learn more about Bare Medical Spa & Laser Center by visiting their website. Also, we realize that these treatments are expensive, but Bare Spa is always offering deals and discounts. To keep up to date with their specials follow them on social media» Instagram | Facebook Subscribe to my YouTube Channel for more of my videos on skincare, health, and expert advice. I hope you enjoy and learn a lot from this video. If you have any questions about skincare or med spa treatments, please leave them in the comments below. Thank you for watching!
