9/28/2018 0 Comments Comfy & Casual LookHi Everyone! Today's #OOTD look is stylish, but don't be mislead. This outfit is so comfortable you will feel like you're in your PJ's. This is great for running around doing errands or getting some things done around the house. All while still looking cute as can be! Keep reading to see my #OOTD! With the brands and links of where to find the same look! Today my outfit of the day includes an item I have been obsessed with lately. My Cotton Wide Leg Pant from Bassike. I wear them all the time! I even bought them in every color available. That's how much I love these pants. I know these are on the more pricey side, so here are a similar pair from Amazon called the Cemi Ceri Women's J2 Love Wide Leg Palazzo Pants. The price is extremely reasonable, and they are available in a variety of colors, too. Now, my denim jacket is from J.Crew a few seasons ago, which obviously means it's no longer available. No worries though, denim jackets are always in style. Especially, around the Fall season. Here is another option I found for you guys, called the classic denim jacket from J.Crew. Currently, oversized denim jackets are on trend, which I have one or two of myself. I decided to wear a cropped version that hits me at the hips. This goes better with the look I have on. If I wore a longer, more oversized, jacket with the wide leg pant, I would look like I was drowning in my clothes. My shirt is the, SheIn Women's Summer Short Sleeve Loose Casual Tee T-Shirt, from Amazon. It's extremely comfortable and affordable! Instead of tucking my shirt in I tied it in a front knot. I did this to add some structure to the outfit and to show off my waistline. Now let's talk about my accessories! My earrings are the Rebecca De Ravenel Classic Short Earrings, clip ons. They are no longer available, but the Kenneth Jay Lane from The Outnet, are exactly the same style!
My rings are my own. The diamond bracelet is from Von Bargen's Jewelry. My clutch is Michael Kors, but no longer available. Here is a great alternative, Leo Mirror Metallic Envelope Clutch from Nordstrom. Let me know what you think about my #OOTD in the comments! 9/21/2018 0 Comments My Favorite Face Gel CleansersWe've talked about face cleansers, toners, and makeup removers in previous posts. Today I'm going to talk about gel cleansers. You might be asking, “what is the difference?" There are a variety of cleansers out there, but what you decide to use should be based on your specific skin type. It is definitely overwhelming with all the products and ads, but I’m here to help! A gel cleanser is great for people with oily, combination skin, or looking to clear clogged pores. Cleansing gels have a much lighter consistency than your average cream based cleansers. These are gel formulas that clean your face, remove waterproof makeup, and leave you skin feeling like silky smooth without making it feel stripped. Just keep in mind what formulations your skin reacts best to. This is my favorite way to wash my face in the evening. It's fast, easy and cleans away even the heaviest makeup. In this post I’m going to share my favorite gel cleansers. Clarins Pure MeltThis is the product that I use almost every single night. The gel turns into an oil that melts away your makeup. It can take off five coats of blackest black mascara that you applied earlier in the morning. I first put this on my face without adding water, massage into the skin, including the eye area, and then add water. Rinse off with warm water, I use the Eve Lom Muslim Cloths which I have listed in this post. On days where I'm wearing heavier makeup I'll follow up with the Clarins Exfoliating Cleanser, avoiding my eye area, and rinse off again with warm water using the muslim cloths. This will leave you skin feeling so soft and clean and ready for your night time regimen. Eve Lom CleanserThis product is made for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is a thick balm which will deep clean, exfoliate, and soothe your skin removing even waterproof makeup. This is a bit pricey but you only need to use a very small amount, so the 6.8 oz jar could last for quite some time. Apply a little bit of the product to your face with dry fingertips. I use about a dime size, using too much will make it gunky. Massage into the entire face, including the eye area. Saturate the Muslim Cloth with warm water and wipe it across your face and eye area to remove all traces of cleanser and makeup. Rinse the cloth with cool water and press into the face to close your pores. The cloths can be machine or hand washed and will last forever. Your skin will feel like silk and your evening products will absorb much better into your skin. Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing OilThis oil is a two-in-one cleanser that will remove makeup, even waterproof makeup, leaving skin super soft. Like the other products mentioned here, do not add water before you put onto your skin. So using dry hands and on a dry face massage the oil in, using only one pump to two pumps. Again, this is for your face and eyes. It will turn milky and will melt away even the heaviest of makeups. Rinse off with warm water. Super easy with great for your skin ingredients.

This myth has definitely evolved over time. At first it was no white, at all, after Labor Day. Over the years it turned into no white pants after Labor Day. Look ladies if you have the ability to wear white pants and look good then go for it! Who cares what month it is!! I am here today to bust that antiquated myth. Since Labor Day was only two weeks ago I decided it was a perfect time to disprove this fashion lore. I wanted to show women that fashion rules are sometimes made to be broken. I put together this high-end white sequin blazer with a t-shirt and jeans. White can be worn throughout the year. It really just depends on the way you style it. If you like my look keep reading to see my #OOTD! With the brands and links of where to find the same look. To start, my white sequin blazer is from Rachel Zoe. Now, if this is just way too extravagant for you here is Linen-blend Jacket from H&M. This jacket has the same design and style, except for the sequin detail, as the Rachel Zoe blazer; for a much more reasonable price. My blazer is definitely a high-end piece of clothing. With this outfit I decided to mix my highs and lows in my wardrobe. To create a more edgy look I paired this blazer with a graphic t-shirt and jeans. This outfit translates from day to night very easily. The t-shirt I'm wearing is sold out, but this Absolute Cult Debbie Harry Women's Iconic Photo T-Shirt from Amazon is a perfect option. My jeans are the 10" higher-rise toothpick eco jean with let-down hem from J.Crew. My shoes are from J.Crew but they are no longer available. In my last post I had mentioned how J.Crew's shoe quality has changed ever since they changed ownership. These Tom Ford Leopard-Print Velvet Pumps are the closest match I could fine to mine. Since the Tom Ford's are ridiculously priced these Steve Madden Daisie-L Pump are a good alternative. I tried to keep my accessories simple, but still with a little bit of edge to match my outfit. My sunglasses are Alexander McQueen. I'm in love with the attention to detail with the skull hardware on the temples.
As for the jewelry I decided not to add too much. My diamond studs are from Von Bargen's, and of course the ring is from Paul Morelli. Let me know what you think about my #OOTD in the comments!
