11/30/2018 0 Comments Gumuchian November - Part 7The last and final post of Gumuchain November Part #7!! For the whole month of November, we have featured all our outfits of the day with only Gumuchian jewelry. You've not only seen some of Gumuchian's stunning jewelry and designs, but you learned about their mission as a company. It is a company comprised of talented women who strive to make other women feel good about themselves. They are also invested in giving back to causes worthwhile. For the month of November, we paired our Gumuchian jewelry with various fashion trends & styles. We wanted to showcase that you can wear luxury jewelry for any occasion. It is definitely acceptable to wear high-end jewelry with a casual everyday outfit. For our final look of Gumuchian November, I went a little out of the box. This look is inspired by Blake Lively's power suits. I love the idea of turning traditional menswear into a feminine and also strong fashionable look. Keep reading to see my full #OOTD along with links of where to find the same look. Today's look features pieces from the elegant Oasis Collection! "Dip into tranquility with this shimmering pool of mouth-watering diamonds. Like lily pads on a pond, they sit perfectly in place on a bed of 18kt gold, although through the ripple effect they seem to dissolve and expand, enough to make you melt." Let's start with the 18kt Yellow Gold Diamond Oasis Necklace. This 34" necklace is made of 104 RD Diamonds weighing a total of 14 carats. This necklace is dripping in diamonds and gold! You can't help but feeling beautiful once you put it around your neck. The matching 18kt Yellow Gold Diamond Oasis Bracelet is made of 30 RD brilliant diamonds. This bracelet is the perfect match to the necklace, but could definitely be worn on its own. For the finishing touch, we added Gumuchian's Oasis Curve Earrings. Made of 18kt Yellow Gold with 10 RD Diamonds. As I said, in the beginning, I went out of my comfort zone when I chose my outfit. I thought with such elegant pieces of jewelry I wanted to outfit to match in style. The power suits have become popular recently, but dressing in men's attire is also something I have seen being done. It is trendy and a great way to feel empowered and confident. If you want to try out this look here is where to find everything I am wearing. Let's start with the bowtie, which may I say is much harder to tie on myself than on Mr. Stafford. The Ludlow velvet bow tie is from J.Crew for $65. I'm sure you could find another one for less, but I'm not sure where that would be. My oversized blazer is from 3.1 Phillip Lim for $358. A similar option would be this blazer from Everlane for $160. Now my button down shirt is from Anne Fontaine for $295. You can wear any white button down with this outfit it doesn't have to be so expensive, such as this Riley Tailored-Fit Super-Stretch Shirt from Banana Republic for $58. For my pants, I decided to go with a straight legged pant, which works best with an oversized blazer. You can't see the stripe down the side of the leg, but I thought it was a nice accent that matched the whole look. My pants are Level 99 which I purchased locally at Bunya Bunya, in Stowe, VT. Unfortunately, you cannot find these online. I was able to find these Janice Midrise Ultra Skinny made from the same company as mine. Also, The Stretch Ponte Skinny Pant from Everlane would go perfectly with this outfit. For my shoes, I could have worn any heel with this outfit. My choice ended up being these Salvatore Ferragamo Varnished Pointed Pumps. A similar option would be these Vince Camuto Savilla from Zappos for $89. I just want to thank Gumuchian for allowing me to wear their beautiful jewelry as well as your support in my blog!! I know that we've featured some very high-end jewelry this month but I thought it would be fun to dress and play with some beautiful pieces. Don't worry, we'll be getting back to reality soon but for the time being it's been a blast showcasing the artistry of the Women of Gumuchian. I would like to thank them again for the experience and I hope you enjoyed dreaming along with me. For the upcoming month of December, we have some fun posts coming your way. We have Christmas videos to show you how I decorate my trees and wrap my Christmas presents. As well as the first workout focused video of a three-part series. My trainer Charlotte and I discuss where to start and we will actually give you a program that is great for beginners or those who are more advanced. Don't forget about our ULTIMATE GIVEAWAY for the whole month of December! We have 13 gifts that are comprised of my favorite Sephora products. Details to enter will be posted in my Instagram Bio. 11/29/2018 0 Comments Gumuchian November - Part 6Part #6 of Gumuchian November!!! Here's some background on Gumuchian and why we are so happy to share their jewelry with you. On any given day, if you walk into the Gumuchian office in Manhattan, you will see several women buzzing around, all with one goal in mind: to bring women the most exquisite, timeless and perfectly executed jewelry they have ever seen or worn. Gumuchian's slogan is "Designed by Women for Women". Their founder and visionary Anita Gumuchian and her daughters Myriam and Patricia carry on a family legacy in the jewelry industry that dates back over 100 years. The artistry and beauty of their jewelry are evident at first sight. The diamonds and gemstones that they use along with their unique designs are what makes this jewelry so incredible to look at but also so very easy to wear. Their offices in Manhattan is where all their designs are developed and brought to life by master jewelers. This team of women comes together as one, making each design built to wear with comfort while lasting a lifetime. This is what it means to be "Designed by Women for Women". This is why we are proud to present their pieces to you since our blog is all about women supporting women. It also doesn't hurt that this was probably one of the most fun couple of days we've had just being able to play with such incredible pieces. I do love jewelry and admire the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into making such stunning pieces. Works of art, like the pieces that you'll see this month, are made to be worn and serve as cherished heirlooms for future generations. For the month of November, we paired our Gumuchian jewelry with various fashion trends & styles. We wanted to showcase that you can wear luxury jewelry for any occasion. It is definitely acceptable to wear high-end jewelry with a casual everyday outfit. Today's look features the Stich by Stich Diamond Pendulum Necklace, Honeybee "B" Diamond Ring, and the New Moon Hoop Earrings. Keep reading to see my full #OOTD along with links of where to find the same look. The beautiful Gumuchian necklace I'm wearing is called the Stich by Stich Diamond Pendulum Sliding Pendant. It's difficult to tell from the picture but the one I'm wearing is Rose Gold. The pendant is comprised of 30 RD brilliant diamonds, coming in at 3.30 carats. As you can tell from the photos the 32" chain is long enough to brighten up a simple outfit or top. This is a very fun and playful piece of jewelry that can be dressed up or down. My earrings are the New Moon Hoops, which I have featured in two previous posts. They really are the perfect earring to go with any outfit or occasion. They are made with a left and right earring. The structure is genius because it allows for each diamond to be put on display. They are made of 18kt yellow prong setting. The earrings have diamonds that are G in color and VS for the clarity and are also ideally cut. Each individual diamond is a half carat, in layman's terms they are nice and big! From the combination of color and clarity, they come to a total cost of $72K. These earrings aren't currently on the Gumuchian website. They are expected to be up on the website within 2-3 weeks. You can check out the whole New Moon collection which comes in various sizes. Gumuchian also offers these earrings in the same size but with diamonds that are H-I in color and SI in clarity, valued at $44k. The Honeybee "B" Diamond Ring is obviously part of Gumuchian's "B" Collection. I wore many of their pieces from the "B" Collection in Gumuchian November - Part 4. In that post I share the story behind the "B" Collection, and that a percentage of their profits are donated to the declining bee population. The collection as a whole is beautifully executed and highlights Gumuchian's stellar craftsmanship and attention to detail in their designs. With the holidays in full swing, I wanted to share a fun outfit perfect for any seasonal celebration. This is one of my favorite dresses from Kate Spade, which is unfortunately no longer available. Anytime I put it on I just wanted to shake my hips and dance, which is largely due to the feather trim at the hem of the dress. I did find some similar options for you ladies if you are interested in wearing the same look. First, we have this amazing V-Neck Short-Sleeve Feather-Hem Dress from Neiman Marcus for $475. A more affordable option would be this chic Feather Bottom Shift Dress from Nordstrom Rack for $96.97. Also, let's not forget my black polka dot stockings. They really do add to this look. If I wore just plain stockings the whole outfit might have been a little too drab, at least for me. I got mine from Bare Necessities for $38. My shoes are from Dolce & Gabbana, but any shoes would look great with this outfit! Especially a black pump in patent or suede. I found some examples for you guys to choose from.
1. The Esatto in Black Patent from M. Gemi for $278 2. The Esatto in Black Suede from M. Gemi for $278 3. Fefe Feather Sandal from Nordstrom for $51.98 A big thank you to Gumuchian!! For the month of November, we paired our Gumuchian jewelry with various fashion trends & styles. We wanted to showcase that you can wear luxury jewelry for any occasion. It is definitely acceptable to wear high-end jewelry with a casual everyday outfit. Today's look features a necklace from the beautiful and innovative Carousel Collection. Keep reading to see my full #OOTD along with links of where to find the same look. Gumuchian's 18kt Yellow Gold Diamond Carousel Necklace is made with interchangeable links, which leaves so many possibilities. You can achieve multiple looks with just one piece of jewelry! I wore the necklace as a bracelet and a choker with an attached link down the front. This 33" length necklace is comprised of 160 RD diamonds, which comes in at 4.80 carats. See the chart below for the different styles you can wear. "Carnivals evoke all types of fantastical imagery. But none are more magical and enticing than the famed carousel. Steeped in European tradition, Paris whimsy, and shimmering escapism, our Carousel collection is beguiling. The collection was created to be extremely versatile. The necklaces can be worn long or short, doubled up or paired with matching rings or earrings and have detachable bracelets. All while reminding us of those carefree nights under the stars where anything is possible." These beautiful Gumuchian New Moon hoop earrings are unbelievable in person. First, the hoops are made with a left and right earring. The structure is actually genius because it allows for each diamond to be put on display. They are made of 18kt yellow prong setting. Gumuchian also offers these earrings in the same size but with diamonds that are H-I in color and SI in clarity, valued at $44k. I bought my dress locally from Bunya Bunya Boutique in Stowe, VT. Since they are a boutique they do not have an online store. I did find an identical dress called the Level 99 Ivan Suede Midi Dress from South Moon Under for $128. My bag is from Prada which is no longer available. See below for some similar options I found for you guys! ZAC Zac Posen Eartha Iconic Soft Top-Handle from Zappos for $297. & Steve Madden Bfaye from Zappos for $79.99. Finally, my shoes are called The Rivista from M.Gemi for $278. I know that this is more money than some of willing to spend on a pair of shoes, but M.Gemi is such a quality brand that their shoes will last you a lifetime. I did try to find some other options to give you a variation in price ranges, but there really isn't anything out there that comes close to this design.
A big thank you to Gumuchian!! Check in with us for the rest of this month to see some more stunning pieces. Let me know what you think about my #OOTD in the comments!
