Mrs. Stafford GLO Science Product Review
MRS. STAFFORD GLO SCIENCE PRODUCT REVIEW
Full Disclosure: GLO Science recently sent me their GLO Lit Kit & ECO Balance  to use and review. Since this is a product I have purchased and used before, I was excited to try out their new product. Keep reading to learn more about GLO Science & FOR DISCOUNT CODE FOR 20% OFF.

“A smile is the best makeup any girl can wear.”
~Marilyn Monroe

Having a great smile gives you a world of confidence. Flashing those pearly whites makes you seem more approachable. A simple smile can also brighten up a stranger’s day. what is Glo Science?

Picture
According to the GLO Science website, it is an:
“at-home teeth whitening device that uses accelerating warming heat & LED light technology for faster results without causing teeth sensitivity,”
which was created by Dr. Jonathan B. Levine. Among his credentials includes being a renowned oral health expert, New York City aesthetic dentist specializing in prosthodontics, NYU professor, international lecturer, author, philanthropist, and visionary inventor holding 23 patents and 5 patents pending.

My experience with Glo Science products:

Picture
I have been using GLO Science whitening for several years now and it has become a staple in my dental care routine.

About 8 years ago, I noticed my smile had certainly yellowed after taking a photo with my daughter at a baseball game. Compared to my daughter’s sparkling white teeth, mine looked discolored and dull. Of course, this happens to everyone with age. Over time the drinks and foods you consume have an effect on the color of your teeth. My oral health was great, but cosmetically I wanted to brighten up my smile to achieve what everyone wants - a beautiful smile. So, I set out to find some at-home products that would help make my teeth whiter.

Along with changing a few things in my dental care routine, I purchased the GLO Science, GLO BRILLIANT TEETH WHITENING DEVICE.
This device is much easier and certainly less messy than most trays or charcoal pastes that are advertised out there. The best part about it is that it allows you to have professional results at home.
Going to the dentist to get your teeth whitened can sound like a daunting task, especially in today’s world with Covid-19.

Also, with Glo Science, you are getting amazing results for an affordable price compared to what you might have to pay at a dentist's office. So, if you have an hour a week you can get that beautiful Hollywood smile. To find out about some other dental care products I use check out my blog post, “SHOW THEM PEARLY WHITES!”
Recently, Glo Science sent me two of their newer products including the ECO Balance Oral Health Care Booster.

As well as the GLO Lit Teeth Whitening Device Tech Kit with Bluetooth, which includes:
- LED mouthpiece (with Guided Light Optics) + Bluetooth Power Pack
- 7 Teeth Whitening GLO Vials (42 applications)
- GLO Lip Care
- Mouthpiece Case
As I’ve stated previously in this post, Glo Science is a brand that I love and have used for a few years now. That is why I am happy to be working with them. I am very picky when choosing what brands or products I want to partner with. I only go with those that I use myself and that shows results. There is no use in giving beauty advice that won’t work, which is my main focus.

Can you see now why I love this device?! The results are no joke so there is a reason you keep seeing influencers posting about this amazing device.

eXPERT DENTAL ADVICE FROM Glo SciENCE

Picture
Now, this does not replace your annual visits to the dentist for oral hygiene care. So, with that in mind, we wanted to deliver some expert advice from the specialist on the GLO Science team to answer some of the most frequently asked questions to help you keep a healthy, glowing smile.

Q: What is your background & what do you do for the GLO team?

A:

My name is Jennifer Vasquez RDHBS and I am the Director of Sales Acceleration and Training for GLO Science Professional.  As a part of the Corporate and Sales Teams, I provide direction for Clinical Support and Sales Training to all our GLO Science Professional Partners.

Q: What does my oral health have to do with the rest of my health?

A:

Good oral health is essential to overall health and wellness. As the gateway to the rest of your body, the health of your mouth, including your teeth and gums, can be an important indicator of overall health and can also determine how susceptible you are to other illnesses or chronic conditions. Just as food, drink, and medications enter your body through your mouth, so can bacteria and viruses. If your gums and teeth aren’t healthy, it becomes easier for these bacteria and viruses to then enter your bloodstream and impact the rest of your body. In fact, there have been numerous studies linking poor oral health to numerous inflammatory diseases including endocarditis, cardiovascular disease, and pneumonia. Regular dental visits, as well as routine home care including brushing twice a day and flossing, are essential to keeping the mouth free of germs that can spread to the rest of the body.

Q: What are your tips for better oral hygiene at home for women over 60?

A:

In addition to regular dental visits, maintaining your oral health at home by brushing twice a day, flossing daily, and rinsing your mouth are key. Self-care plays an important role here as well. Hydrate frequently with water, make time to do things you enjoy and make sure to smile frequently. Better self-care routines can help improve your mental state and can even help fight depression and anxiety. Plus, the simple act of smiling can immediately boost your mood, reduce stress, and strengthen your social connections with others. When you take good care of your teeth, you naturally smile more.

A healthy diet and vitamin supplement support are also critical to your oral health and overall health. In fact, there is increasing evidence indicating that malnutrition and lack of vitamins and minerals are underlying causes of periodontal disease, which increases in those over 60.

Q: According to the CDC and Prevention, half of adults age 30 and older suffer from some form of gum disease. What are the warning signs of gum disease? What can adults do to prevent the disease?

A:

Gum disease and tooth loss is one of the most common diseases in adults.  The warning signs could be halitosis, bleeding gums, gum pockets, tooth mobility, pus, food getting stuck, gum recession, and pain in the gums.  One of the most important ways to prevent gum disease is to get regular dental check-ups and cleanings with your hygienist including gum pocket measurements.  These measurements can assess the health of your gum tissue.  Deeper pockets can collect bacteria, cause detachment of the gums around each tooth, which can lead to tooth loss.  To prevent this, your dentist will recommend simple oral hygiene instructions with products and treatments to reduce bacteria and increase the healing of the gum tissue.

Q: What is teeth sensitivity and what can I do to improve the strength of my teeth?

A:

Teeth sensitivity may occur when enamel wears away from the outer layer of the teeth, exposing the inner dentin tooth structure. Exposed dentin, also known as recession, is an open channel which leads directly to the nerve of the tooth.  This exposure causes tooth sensitivity and may occur due to normal maturation and can also be exacerbated with acidic foods and drinks like soda.  To improve the strength of your teeth, stay away from foods and drinks that have acidic pH levels like colas and seltzers.

Q&A with JamIe at Bare Medical Spa | Laser Treatments, Coolsculpting, Chemical Peels & more

Hi everyone! So this video has been a long time in the making, and we finally have it up and live for you to view.

In this video we will be talking with Jamie Clayton, owner of Bare Medical Spa & Laser Center in Burlington, Vermont. She gives us the run down on laser treatments, EMsculpting, Coolsculpting, Profound body contouring, PRP hair restoration and other aesthetic, non-invasive procedures she performs at her med spa.

I have been extremely transparent since I started this blog about the cosmetic treatments and procedures I've had done. Even though I am diligent with my daily skincare routine, at the age of 61 creams just don't cut it. For those telltale areas of aging, I find that laser treatments are the most effective. I thought this would be a great video to give some insight on the various non-invasive procedures that are available now-a-days. I even learned a lot from making this video. The advancements in technology are kind of unbelievable!

We also did a Q&A session with with Jamie based on the questions some of you posted on social media. We talked about treating hair loss, dark spots and age spots, spider veins, and other skin issues. At the end of the video, we give a quick glance at one of the procedures. We watch Jamie perform the PicoWay Resolve treatment, which removes hyper pigmentation, tightens skin, and also helps with acne scars or uneven texture.

You won't believe how easy and virtuously painless this treatment is.

You can learn more about Bare Medical Spa & Laser Center by visiting their website. Also, we realize that these treatments are expensive, but Bare Spa is always offering deals and discounts. To keep up to date with their specials follow them on social media» Instagram | Facebook

Subscribe to my YouTube Channel for more of my videos on skincare, health, and expert advice.

I hope you enjoy and learn a lot from this video. If you have any questions about skincare or med spa treatments, please leave them in the comments below. Thank you for watching! Xo

The Triple Crown is Coming- NO not the horses- The Holidays

Thanksgiving🦃 Christmas🎅  & New Year’s Eve🎉!

Let’s take the pressure off of the ridiculous resolutions we hold ourselves to on Jan 1 and get pro-active during the holidays in order to feel better, and hopefully stay healthy!

How to be pro-active;

1. Eat before you go.
Seriously, who does this?  Nobody!!!  because we are all so excited that someone else is serving us dinner.  Instead, go for the healthier foods at the table; proteins/fat and veggies first, then notice if you still want the other party foods.
2. If you partake in alcohol, consider a wine spritzer
3. If eating dairy (cheeses, dips)
Be careful, as dairy is a mucous producing food in the body (stuffy nose, colds)
4. Stay hydrated....with water!

Fun Fact:
Have you ever wondered why everyone seems to get sick/colds/flu during and after the holiday season? After any sugar ingestion, our immune system can stay suppressed for up to 5 hours after eating =  the immune system is weakened. One drive through sugar habit during holiday time for many people is Starbucks.

How many Starbucks coffees do you typically consume?

16 oz Starbucks Mocha Latte – which contains 8.3 Tablespoons of sugar =immune suppression.  If this is a favorite pick up during the season, consider asking for less chocolate, no whipped cream, and no added sugar to the drink.

Don’t consider the holiday season something you have to “pay for” on January 1.  Stop the madness now, and be mindful of your choices.  You will feel better and the pressure is off when the New Year rolls around.

If you would like the Triple Crown of immune support before the holiday season, please contact the office to place an order.

In addition, if you would like to set up a new year, optimal you for 2020, please contact the office and we can start the process!
