9/11/2018 0 Comments Cute Outfit for Cooler WeatherHi Everyone!! So the extreme heat has finally broken!! It's gotten down to the 60's here in VT, which is a huge improvement from the 90 degree weather we've had all summer. I know that we probably will still have some hot days going forward. That's what makes this time of year so difficult to dress for, especially in Vermont. In the morning it can be freezing, but by noon it will be warm, then back down to chilly weather in the evening. I know that most women get over excited when they feel the first chill in the air, because that means Fall is coming! Still it's not that time for oversized sweaters and boots just yet. In this outfit of the day I went with the perfect attire for that awkward in-between weather. Keep reading to see my #OOTD! With the brands and links of where to find the same look! Now you can tell this is a very simple outfit to duplicate. It's just a pair of leggings with an oversized white cotton button down. There are so many leggings out there, but you really do need to be careful. Some are see-through while others can be too tight. I highly suggest to try and stay away from yoga pants. Even though people usually can't tell the difference it's better to invest some money in proper leggings. I got mine from Spanx, and they are called the Look at Me Now High-Waisted Seamless Leggings! They are perfect because they are comfortable while sucking everything in at the same time My shoes are the Hair Calf Pump from J.Crew which are no longer available. J.Crew use to have an amazing shoe collection, but ever since they changed ownership their quality and style has suffered. These Ann Taylor Mila Leopard Print Haircalf Pumps are an identical match! My shirt is from Free People, the Through The Canyon Buttondown Top. This shirt is very cozy! It's made out of 100% cotton, and the oversized style gives the laid back and chic appearance all at the same time. My simple black leather bag is from Everlane. It's a great bag for any outfit. Unfortunately, this same bag is not being sold anymore. I did find this Foldover Crossbody from Everlane that is a very similar match! My sunglasses are Tom Ford's Fany. A more affordable option are these Ray-Ban Clubmaster Classic.
My leopard ring and bracelet are from Roberto Coin, which are no longer available. Honestly, I tried to look for an alternative, but there wasn't anything out there that matched what I'm wearing. Leapord, or any animal print, for that matter is a tricky thing. It can either look extremely stylish or just completely tacky. What I did find was this gold bangle and matching ring from The Outnet. The earrings I'm wearing are also from Roberto Coin, the same as in my last two posts. An alternative option are these lovely Kate Spade earrings for $48.
