11/7/2018 0 Comments Gumuchian NovemberHi Everyone! I'm so excited to announce that this month we are partnering with Gumuchian Jewelry for all our outfits of the day!! It's Officially Gumuchian November!!! First, let me start by giving you a bit of background on Gumuchian and why we are so happy to share their jewelry with you. On any given day, if you walk into the Gumuchian office in Manhattan, you will see several women buzzing around, all with one goal in mind: to bring women the most exquisite, timeless and perfectly executed jewelry they have ever seen or worn. Gumuchian's slogan is "Designed by Women for Women". Their founder and visionary Anita Gumuchian and her daughters Myriam and Patricia carry on a family legacy in the jewelry industry that dates back over 100 years. The artistry and beauty of their jewelry are evident at first sight. The diamonds and gemstones that they use along with their unique designs are what makes this jewelry so incredible to look at but also so very easy to wear. Their offices in Manhattan is where all their designs are developed and brought to life by master jewelers. This team of women comes together as one, making each design built to wear with comfort while lasting a lifetime. This is what it means to be "Designed by Women for Women". This is why we are proud to present their pieces to you since our blog is all about women supporting women. It also doesn't hurt that this was probably one of the most fun couple of days we've had just being able to play with such incredible pieces. I do love jewelry and admire the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into making such stunning pieces. Works of art, like the pieces that you'll see this month, are made to be worn and serve as cherished heirlooms for future generations. For the month of November we paired our Gumuchian jewelry with various fashion trends & styles. We wanted to showcase that you can wear luxury jewelry for any ocassion. It is definitely acceptable to wear high end jewelry with a casual everyday outfit, like I did with todays outfit of the day. So now to take a look at the pieces that I was lucky enough to wear with this outfit. Keep reading to see my full #OOTD along with links of where to find the same look. These sapphire and diamond earrings, called Cloud Nine, are so incredible I screamed when I saw them. Beautifully made with 18K White Gold, Diamonds and Blue Sapphires they are just exquisite. I believe in wearing jewelry, if we are lucky enough to have something beautiful we shouldn't lock it up and save it for only special occasions. That's why I wanted to pair these with jeans for a more date night/casual look. You don't have to be wearing something special to be able to enjoy the beauty of finely made jewelry. If I owned these earrings, it would be hard for me to take them off! The bracelet I'm wearing is called the Oasis. Made of 18kt White Gold with 30 round diamonds, it's elegant and sophisticated, but also a very wearable piece of jewelry. This is a bracelet that can be worn every day. It can be casual along with looking quite dressed up depending on your outfit and the occasion. Like I said before I love wearing jewelry that I own at any time, day, night, casual or dressy. When someone puts the time and imagination into these works of art, they should be worn and enjoyed! Also if someone loved you so much that they gifted something like this to you, why wouldn't you wear it whenever you could! The diamonds are bezel set, so it adds a uniqueness to the piece that makes it different and very wearable. Gumuchian designed an entire Oasis collection, which includes rings, necklaces, and earrings. All are just stunning. Now let's get to my outfit:) My original top I'm wearing in these photos was purchased from J.Crew many years ago. It's difficult to tell just from looking at the pictures, but the tank I'm wearing is navy with a velvet material. J.Crew has this very similar Velvet Tank Top in the navy twilight, which is currently on sale. This cozy Free People, Summer Sweater Coat, is everything! It is currently sold out in the grey, which is the color I am wearing, but the neutrals they have available are great to match with any outfit. This is a heavier sweater and perfect for these chilly fall days. Of course, I'm loving the big front pockets which makes this item that much better. Now, this cardigan does run big so just keep that in mind when purchasing. I know what you guys must be thinking. A knit cardigan that is over $700 is ridiculous. I know it seems extreme, but I stand my ground when I say Free People really does make quality clothing worth their prices. But I found some similar options for anyone who rather not drop so much on one sweater. This Long Open Front Cardi from Topshop is a very similar style for only $75. I also found this American Eagle Slouchy Waffle Cardigan Sweater for $49.95. My jeans are also from J.Crew. Surprise surprise! They are called the 9" high-rise toothpick jean in Point Lake wash with Tencel. Very comfortable! For this outfit, I definitely wanted to wear a tighter pant to even out the whole look. A bootleg or boyfriend style jean just wouldn't work with the oversized sweater. Finally, my shoes are Salvatore Ferragamo, called the Mirror Heel Mule. One word for these shoes, perfection! That's all I need to say.
Here are some similar options. The Pedro Garcia Yavel shoes for $540; and the Naot Upgrade for $169.95. Both available on Zappos. A big thank you to Gumuchian!! Check in with us all month long to see some more stunning pieces. Let me know what you think about my #OOTD in the comments!
